Kimo Pepe started working in Visual Effects in 1996 at Dream Quest Images in Simi Valley, CA  along side supervisor Hoyt Yeatman, with her first film being "Con Air". She also worked on projects like X-men 2,  Flubber, The Flash,  Super Girl and more.     It was a beginning of a new relationship with digital art and compositing.  

 

Before 1996, Kimo was doing artwork and performing for the Grammy Nominated band "Green Jello" AKA Green Jelly,  designing sets, album covers, T-Shirt designs, directing music videos, merchandising artwork, puppeteering as well as playing drums and singing as a goofy character named "Sadistica",  who were signed to Zoo Entertainment/BMG records at the time.

She is also painting pet portraits and other commissioned artwork using Acrylics and other mixed media hand made art.
